The goal of each class is to take what you learned and be able to apply it as soon as you leave.
Use of Force Evaluation
Use of force is intended to balance the rights and well-being of the suspect/intruder or attacker against the safety and security of the potential victim.
Reasonableness is an important part of legally judging whether an officer's or a person's actions in keeping themselves safe were justified.
Having an expert opinion helps you protect yourself from a lawsuit resulting from using force to defend yourself or effect an arrest.

Active shooter incidents are often over in 10 to 15 minutes. In most situations, the incident ends before law enforcement arrives.

Searching for Missing Children
Finding missing children is a heartbreaking issue that affects families and communities deeply. Each case is unique, and the urgency to locate these children cannot be overstated. It's essential to spread awareness, collaborate with local authorities, and utilize social media to share information. If you have any leads or information, please report it immediately to the relevant authorities to help bring these children home safely.
The above post is a picture I took at a rest stop on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. The picture displays the universal signal for help. Would you know what to do if you witnessed a child displaying this signal?
1) Do not directly intervene. The predator who is terrorizing this child is probably near by. You could cause the child more harm by directly stepping in.
2) Contact the police.
3) Get a good discription of the child. If possible, without putting yourself or the child in danger, get a picture of the child and any adults they might be with.
4) If possible, without putting yourself or the child in danger, get a direction of travel when they leave the area.
5) If possible, without putting yourself or the child in danger, get the license plate of any vehicle they might enter.
